If you have not seen them in person at company events, you have seen their pictures on the internet alongside their dream homes and their luxury cars. Are the stories and the pictures all a lie, or could they be true? And if they are true, what is holding you back from getting a piece of that success?

It could be the methods that you are being taught. Achieving success in network marketing takes more than just having faith and belief in your company, your system or even your ultimate goal.

There are some vital pieces that are missing from your copy of the map for network marketing success. The first one is something that many companies and uplines mention, but without really making you understand how important it is. The truth is, it’s a more important part of your success than anything else - including the product. So what is it? It is … investing in YOU.

What are they teaching you right now? Maybe they talk about goals. Goals are very useful as a part of an integrated success strategy, but are the goals you are setting really YOUR goals, or are they just your version of your upline’s goals? Are they about what YOU want from your business, or about how many targeted leads you generate and how much product you sell? If it’s the latter, then you could hugely benefit from some investment in yourself.

Really, it couldn’t be any easier. All you have to do is boost your success mindset with a daily dose of passive self improvement. If you don’t, success will always seem out of your reach. It’s as if your mindset has a vitamin deficiency. It needs its daily intake!

That’s right, hang out with those who have that millionaire or even billionaire mindset. Most of us don’t have access to them in person, but it doesn’t matter. The best way to do this is by simply reading — or even better, listening to — motivational material from truly successful people.

It’s well known that we take on the characteristics of the people that we hang out with most. If all your friends are successful people, then there’s a good chance you will soon be successful too. Why? Because you begin to talk, think and act like them. Soon, your ideas of what you are capable of, have completely changed.

Listening to mindset motivational material every day is incredibly powerful! It can completely change your outlook, especially regarding your own true worth. It can also help to rid you of the boundaries that limit you, boundaries that do not exist except in your mind.

This is true whether it is someone well known on the success circuit like an audio from Jack Canfield, Tony Robbins or Jim Rohn or whether it is somebody who is successful within your own company or in your upline.

It is astonishing. Just 15 or 20 minutes a day can make the difference between failure and success in your business. Yet most network marketers are so busy running around ’showing the plan’ to people who have no interest in it, that would say they don’t have time. But you can safely schedule one less appointment or a couple of phone calls to make time for this. Hey, you can even listen in the car!

The quit rate in MLM and network marketing companies is staggering. Most distributors give up in the first couple of months. Around 90% quit within 6 months, almost always without making much money and often without even covering their costs. Often, these people will move on to another MLM opportunity. If you are in that position, it’s time to change. Motivational self-improvement can turn your apparent failures into stepping stones to success.

It is simply a question of bringing the millionaire mindset into your daily life. I do mean daily - you need to be listening to success seven days a week if possible. Make sure it is always at least six. Pretty soon it will become part of your life, and almost without trying, you should find yourself moving toward network marketing success.
